One Nation, Under Pod

Podcast LogoPodcasting does something for external communication that other message strategies cannot. It humanizes the story. Here are a few ways to leverage podcasting while enhancing external communication.

Energize News Announcements
Interview the CEO, celebrity endorser, or another noteworthy individual regarding the company’s latest news. Put the podcast on the Web; reference it in your press releases, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.

Improve Communication Quality
Take advantage of compelling speakers and let them talk to customers, investors, and others via podcasting.

Provide Content-Rich Giveaways

Instead of providing traditional gifts, how about an iPod branded with your organization’s logo and preloaded with a set of your own podcasts? This way, you're providing useful devices as well as your own content and putting it in the hands of the right people (Kramer, 2006).
